Pentecost
1. Read Joel 2:1-32. Look for the use of Law (convicting) and Gospel (comforting).
2. Think about how were the disciples were impacted and changed by Pentecost. How is the Holy Spirit showing up in your life to impact you and others around you with the Gospel? How does the global work of that first harvest change the way that you look at the world around you?
3. What would you tell someone who left the faith, but is now having second thoughts? Is there a Bible passage that comes to mind, inviting that person into God’s grace and mercy? Write out that passage and share it with someone.
4. What are some ways that we can bridge language barriers in our world today?
