1. A couple of the devotion’s passages this week comes from the book of 1 Thessalonians. The congregation was confused about the end times and the last day. Paul wrote to them to explain the coming of the Lord, and what it would mean.
Read 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17. List the three events in order that will occur at the resurrection?
2. Read 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11. – a. How does this Day of the Lord come? b. How does that affect how we live our lives today? c. Whether we are dead or alive when it happens, what will this Day of the Lord mean for us?
3. The end of the world means two different things for two different groups of people.
Read Matthew 25:31-46. – a. What are the two groups identified by Jesus as?, b. What do both groups have in common?, c. What makes us able to “(do) it to one of the least of these My brethren, you (do) it to Me.'?
