1. Read the Second Article of the Apostles’ Creed. Write down, circle, or underline all the blessings that your Good Shepherd gave you.
2. Hymnist Francis Rous wrote a beautiful hymn based on Psalm 23. His hymn focuses on us as sheep and the blessings we receive from our Good Shepherd. Read Hymn 436 from The Lutheran Hymnal, “The Lord’s My Shepherd, I’ll Not Want.” Put each stanza in your own words and comment on the comfort these verses give to you.
3. Time for an Easter review. Christ’s resurrection gives us many assurances. Write down four assurances that the resurrection gives us. Check Luther’s Small Catechism (Sydow Edition pages 127-128, question 159) when you’re done.
