2025-04-19 Weekend Rest Journal:

1. Matthew 27:62-66 is the account of the guards being posted at Jesus’ tomb. In what way could one say that the chief priests and Pharisees listened to Jesus better than did the disciples? In what way did the disciples listen to Jesus better than they did?

2. Journal about a moment in the recent or distant past where you have had trouble listening or believing in Jesus’ promise. Read Psalm 22 and pray for confidence in the Lamb of God’s victory over our doubts and sins.

3. Memorize Psalm 23
