1. Memorize one of these texts that shows the nature of God and look for opportunities to make it known to friends, acquaintances and family. Give thanks to God for every opportunity.
2. In Baptism and the Lord’s Supper God works to cleanse of sin and to confirm the forgiveness of sins in Christ. Consider how these things look to human reason. Faith is not reasonable, but a work of God the Holy Spirit. Trust God and live confidently!
3. Consult a concordance if you have one and look for some other proofs of the Trinitarian nature of God. Take a moment to fight off the goosebumps as you realize that an incomprehensible God describes Himself to puny creatures as us because He wants us to know Him.
4. Read Matthew 3:13-17, Mark 1:9-11, Luke 3:21-22 and John 1:32-34. Notice that God doesn’t want us to miss the point of Jesus’ person.
5.Read through the Athanasian Creed. Notice how careful early Christians were to go no further than Holy Scripture in describing the nature of God.
