1. This week, we have considered the work of the Holy Spirit bringing us and keeping us in the true faith of Jesus Christ as our Savior. This is not the only work of the Holy Spirit. Read Genesis 1:1-2. What event was the Spirit of God (or the Holy Spirit) involved in?
2. Read Luke 3:21-22. At Jesus’ baptism, in what form does the Holy Spirit descend on Jesus? This event shows that the Holy Spirit descends and remains on Jesus as John the Baptist states (John 1:33).
3. This coming Sunday is Trinity Sunday, during which we consider the Triune God. Read 2 Corinthians 13:14. What does the Apostle ask in this blessing to be with each of us? Consider what the communion or fellowship of the Holy Spirit entails.
